I doubt it
Problem with your math. An ounce of gold does not weigh an ounce.
Anyway, prices will likely drop significantly post Inferno changes, when people dump their hoarded minerals. |

I have serious suspicions that this is not a supply versus demand Issue but rather market manipulation.
OMG there going to nerf A prices jump at just the news. No changes have come into effect yet but the market explodes.
EVE is no longer a supply versus demand economy but rather it has turned into what the RL economy really is which is speculation economics.
Half correct.
It still is supply and demand ()with a mix of trying to make a profit sprinkled in). Its just that demand has increased due to speculation. |

Curious how much you think an ounce of gold actually weighs... About 1.09 ounces. |

Curious how much you think an ounce of gold actually weighs... About 1.09 ounces. Let me clarify... An ounce of gold (for purposes of financial value) is almost always (if not always) measured in troy ounces, which are not identical to the commonly used ounce. I admit to being a little tongue-in-cheek with my reply, and though I learned something new (that precious metals are weighed in troy ounces), this is still a different weight than an ounce =p Yes. However, it would change the value of the gold in you math. Which was sorta my point...
Even with the correction though, your point still stands that a miner will not be worth their weight in gold. |

The price of manufactured items has not kept up with the rise in min prices. Lag behind by a few days (during the rapid rise a few weeks back, stopped caring a week ago). |
